We have the wrong hormonal environment within the uterus to support things like puppies. Chimps, our closest animal relatives, might be possible, though.
Biochem PhD isn't answering your question -- he seems to be answering about breeding with bonobos, not giving birth to an implanted embryo.
Even if it was possible why would you want to do that?? theres no need!!Can humans be interspecies surrogate mothers?
Yeh, some humans have been birthed from cows.
So stands to reason, that humans could hold the young of other species.
No
Impossible,
Don't even think about it.
It would not even be possible to breed a Bonobo monkey (it has 98.5% DNA homology with us)
Some cows have given birth to humans? I'll have an ounce of what he's on.
I don't think it would be possible. There would be immune reaction across the placenta. Basically, the foetus would be rejected.
Interspecies birthing is used, but mainly for very rare species.
what planet are you from
yes it is possible, I do not know about the cow thing but I have read about a couple where the wife was infertile due to abnormalities of her uterus, her child was concieved in a test tube, transfered to a monkey, and then transfered back to her uterus after some time. I doubt this would work very well carrying a baby to full term, but I am sure it is possible. I will look for the
article nd post a link later when I find it.

I dont know if people do it now as its a debated issue but didnt the sheep clones come from a cow embryo? im not sure but im too lazy to look it up :)
no...and the cow thing is totally wrong
The answer to such question is either yes or no but do you think there will be any reason to think of such? Let us ask of how to bring offsprings that will improve the race, how to produce offsprings that can make a difference in the world, how to bring offsprings that will save the earth. It is better.
