What are your thoughts on the growing phenomenon of men hiring surrogate mothers to have a child for them?

These are straight men who believe they can raise a child without "a woman being under foot", which is a variation on quotes by mothers having children using sperm banks.What are your thoughts on the growing phenomenon of men hiring surrogate mothers to have a child for them?
there has got to be something wrong with them if they cant find a woman to have a baby with.
I think it is a good idea and depending on court cases and what the law's will be like in 10 years might be the route I take(then settle down, if the woman isn't the genetic mother, and the children are in school, combined with no way for adoption, no risk of my future children being taken from me).





The main principle of this trend among heterosexual men is a fear of losing their kid's. I have seen many men over the years reduced to tears because the mother won't let them see their kid's, or moves across the country. It is a very real masculine(or male) fear.What are your thoughts on the growing phenomenon of men hiring surrogate mothers to have a child for them?
An inspiring part of this trend is that the wives of American servicemen are making good use of their alone time AND the governments money by hiring themselves out as surrogate mothers. Medical expenses are usually the larger part of the surrogacy fee. so a man who chooses a military hen can have a baby at deep discount.

I say go ahead. Men don't necessarily need women to raise a child. Goodness, haven't people ever heard of stories where the mother abandons the child and the father ends up being the best parent?



Jeesh, give men a break. They can do just fine, and it's not wrong to have a baby with a surrogate mother. People just want a child who is part of them. Let them. :)
It's their right to do so. I think anyone who desires a child and is fully equipped (emotionally and financially) to do so shouldn't be denied the right to be a parent.
Why would a sane straight man do that? Isn't it almost always gay men who do that? And even amongst gay men, it's uncommon. I think it's women who can't carry babies themselves who use surrogate mothers the most.

I think it's selfish. Children need a mother and a father. Period.
I say let em. We are sick of getting stretch marks and carrying their demon seed for them.

Good for them.....Men actually make the better parents. Thou sadly, i think they've been pushed into it to be honest. Which is fine by me coz i don't blame them. Besides, it just means the more men there are for gals like me.



Edit: lol I love how people think its coz they "can't get a woman".....It can't possibly be because they just "don't want a woman". I mean that would just be preposterous, lol right ladies? If you hadn't noticed, our men don't like us anymore. But i'm sure that makes you happy since that was the whole idea ;)
