I'm 16 and my mom will let me. And I get a lot of money from it.Are teenagers to young to be surrogate mothers?
Legally you cannot be a surrogate until you are at least 18 even with parental consent, and many surrogacy programs will not allow a first time mother to be a surrogate, you are usually required to be on your 2nd or 3rd uncomplicated pregnancy before becoming a surrogate. Also you really don't get so much money from it in the end, $10-$20,000 may seem like alot but there are legal fees and other expenses you have to shell out to do it. And yes I have checked into it myself. I couldn't afford the time and travel requirements.
And again, I agree with doom ;)
You are too young.
Surrogate mothers should be legal adults and meet criteria (something you will not meet). Shame on your mother. She obviously just wants money. I would never want my 16 year old daughter to be pregnant. She should be 16, not having babies. Are teenagers to young to be surrogate mothers?
Did you know that having a baby as a teenager before your body is fully grown could severely harm your body and cause lots of health problems for you, or that it could cause your baby to be born with serious birth defects?
ABSOLUTELY too young!
In order to be a candidate you have to have had 2 successful full term pregnancies - you will also have to go through a psychological exam
At 16 you wouldn't be approved
no you have to either be 21 and up in some states or 18 and up. legally you have to be an adlut not some 16 year old who wants to do it for money.
No, you are not too young.
