I'm only 22 and I have never had any children, but I would love to look into becoming a surrogate mother to an infertile couple. I was just wondering if there are any agencies out there that don't require the surrogate mother to have had any prior pregnancies at all.Are there any Surrogacy Agencies that DON'T require the surrogate mother to have had a prior pregnancy?
The reason they require a previous pregnancy is because they want to know that your body can carry a baby to term without many complications on your part. The couple who hires you as a surrogate is paying well over $100,000 for the medical service, and then if you are paid on top of that it is going to cost this couple a fortune. No one wants to pay that much money to gamble on a woman whose body may not be capable of pregnancy, or a woman who is going to end with pre-eclampsia or whatever and end up aborting the baby to save their life.
Its nothing against you, its just a better use of a couple's money to invest in a woman who they know can carry a baby to term for them.
