Do surrogate mother share dna with the child that they are pregnant with?

I mean like me and my friends are having a discussion on surrogates and what we are wondering is do the person that is carring the child share the same dna and if like a white couple have a black surrogate will the baby be born with black in them?Do surrogate mother share dna with the child that they are pregnant with?
Depends on the type of surrogacy. If it is "Traditional Surrogate" then they will use the surrogates egg and she will technically be the biological mother of the child. The majority of the people go with a "Gestational Surrogate" which means that the egg is either from the couple or from another donor and the surrogate is simply carrying the baby to term - there is no shared DNA.

So if the couple is caucasian, they use the sperm from the father and the egg from the mother . . . then the baby will be biologically theres and caucasian. If they use the surrogates egg and the father's sperm, then their child will be bi-racial.Do surrogate mother share dna with the child that they are pregnant with?
If the surrogate is carrying a couples embryo then no.... it will be the mothers egg and the fathers sperm, the surrogate is simpy the incubator. If the surrogate is also an egg donor, meaning that just the fathers sperm is used then of corse she will provide 50% of the dna.
