Any surrogate mothers out there?

I am considering being a surrogate mother. I was just wondering what the experience is like. I have done a little checking into it but have not found a company that handles it in South Carolina. Does anyone have any suggestions for me??Any surrogate mothers out there?
The experience includes subjecting your body to lots of hormonal changes during the months you're synchronizing with the client. This includes lots of injections and the hormones....think PMS X 10. It differs per person, of course.

Then if you're doing her fertilized egg, you'll be given valium and the egg will be put in your tube through your vagina with a needle.

If it's your egg, you'll be artifically inseminated, probably interuterine for better chances. This means the sperm is washed and put into your cervix through a straw.

Cramping a general discomfort with people between your legs and your feet in the stirrups with both procedures.

If pregnancy follows, you have that wonders, and possible complications, of that.

About five months in, you will feel the child moving around. For five months you will feel this child moving, get to know baby's patterns, personalities, etc.

When it's over, you hand the child to the clients.

You're work is done and you get your money and go home to get your body and mind back, which take about a year, typically
I have not been a surrogate, but i have fostered... its hard to let that baby go once it's time is up. I have wanted to keep them all and protect them because i had done so for months at a time already. they were like mine.

I would suspect being a surrogate is the same way. Just think about what you are doing and research really well and think about how you will feel emotionally giving up a child you have held for 9 months and possibly knowing you may never see him or her again.

The choice is yours, good luckAny surrogate mothers out there?
Below site will definitely help you. Best on surrogacy.
i think its great being able to help couples out by carrying a child for them but you really need to consider the emotional side of this. good luck
