I would do it if I had a close friend or relative who is unable to conceive on there own. You don't have to tell the child, but if you do then let them know that it was done as a gift. They will have a great appreciation for the surrogate mother, and for their family for wanting them.
what would be any different about the child? a baby is a baby! except for the fact that the surrogate wouldn't breastfeed because the birth parents would be raising the child. but if the couple couldn't get pregnant on their own, and someone else was willing to carry their biological child, why shouldn't they?! parents that go through crazy fertility treatments to have a baby obviously really want one and are desperate. surrogate gets compensation and it's a win win all around.Do you think that surrogate Mothers is a solution?
It is one solution. You have to be comfortable with it.



It's expensive, and the laws regarding it vary from state to state. California is probably the best place to do it, since legally there is no question that the surrogate is NOT the mother.

me and my boyfriend only want 3 kids but i always said if i could help someone out that cant have babies i'd love to do it



but when it comes to it i dont think i'd be able to hand the baby over cause ive carried the baby for 9 months you have a bond thats why i wont do it now

a surrogate can hold someone elses egg, so if you have eggs, they can be extracted from you and implanted in her...



there are many ways to do surrogacy..



pending your beliefs, etc it can be a solution, pends on how you feel about that



I am actually on a donor list to donate my eggs to someone who needs them.. i think programs for this are great and helpful to some, however not for everyone.

It depends on the situation if the women can go through the pregnancy and hand the child over to the biological parents then yes it can be sucessful but it can all be a bit confusing for the child as they have a birth mother as well as a biological mother.
This was tried on monkeys and found that it was good for these monkeys to have a surrogate mother, but humans i do not think it really works good,
Yeah...I've told my sister that i would be a surrogate mother for her n she would for me.....jst as long as ppl don't get attached to their child coz that could do some damage...
