Could I be the surrogate mother of my wife's biological child?

How do Canadian laws work with surrogacy? I'm a lesbian and my wife and I are considering the ways we could go about having children. We're leaning towards surrogacy, but information is hard to find on the Internet for Canadian laws and methods regarding the subject. The thing is, since my wife can't have children and my family's genetic history isn't as healthy as hers, I'm more than willing to carry her biological child, so we wouldn't have to search for a surrogate mother. Is such a thing possible and who would we talk to about doing the procedure?Could I be the surrogate mother of my wife's biological child?
I live in the U.S., so I'm not sure about how the Canadian laws work with surrogacy, but I do know that yes, of course you could be a surrogate for your wife's child. This sounds like a perfect compromise between her inability to carry children and your family's health. :)

You can talk to your doctor and he can probably refer you to someone who could fertilize her eggs and implant them in your uterus.

I truly wish the best of luck to the both of you and your future family :)Could I be the surrogate mother of my wife's biological child?
Well her egg would have to be fertilized outside of the womb and then implanted into your uterus.

You need to see a fertility specialist and they can help you find the right doctor for the procedure.
