How can i bewcome a surrogate mother?

I'm 22 years old and i am happily engaged with two beatuiful healthy children.

I have always wanted to be a surrogate mother. I would love to give another family the love and joy of a new baby. Its such a wonderful experiance. I just had a baby a month ago so i know my body isn't ready yet for another pregnancy. I was just wondering how i could do this???

thank you.How can i bewcome a surrogate mother?
You are correct that your body isn't ready yet, but this is as good a time as any to start gathering information. Some people think that these decisions are made quickly, but they don't realize it takes months to even have a transfer once you're matched! That takes time, too. Just starting now, it will likely still be several months before you're even matched with a couple. That said, the first step you need to take is to find out if surrogacy is legal in your state. If not, then you cannot be compensated for it. Without getting too many "thumbs down", you need to look deep within and ask yourself if you really want to go through all this for free. There is way more to it than most people realize. I've done it 3 times. Each time you have daily injections: 5 weeks of Lupron in your abdomen, and 12 weeks of Progesterone in your hip. Add that up - 119 shots! You have the fact that your family will be going through a huge ordeal with you pregnant. It consumes you. You talk to the baby's mom almost every day! The birth and recovery time take you away from your kids. I loved doing it, but doing it for free is another ball game, unless you are doing it for your best friend or family.

If you still want to do it, wait about 6 months (I would really say wait until your kids are in school) and call an agency. It's so much easier to let the agency handle everything than to try to do it all yourself. I did my first one through an agency. I also waited until my kids were in school because it was really hard to deal with doctor appointments with toddlers in tow.
Hello, Me and my husband have been trying for four years and after having 5 miscarriages, I'm a little scared to try again.... we dont have 115000 to try to adopt. If you would still consider doing the surrogacy, please contact me @ lucybell0911@yahoo.com Thank you so much and God Bless you! Malia

I'm not sure where you're located, but you should research agencies in your area. You will have to undergo medical and psychological screening, but once you are registered with an agency they will help match you with potential intended parents (IPs). You also need to be careful, as surrogacy is actually illegal in some states, while some states such as California, Illinois and Florida are very surrogacy-friendly, with good legislation. Surrogacy is also possible in Indiana and Ohio, though the laws are more ambiguous and you will need a consultation with an attorney about how to enter into a surrogacy contract. The majority of REI doctors will require a surrogacy contract before they will assist with an embryo transfer. Good luck with your research.
Most Fertility Doctors will have you wait a minimum of 6 months after you give birth, you also need to have a BMI below 30. You should also find out if your current medical insurance has a surrogacy exclusion. Some insurance companies do and the Intended Parents are then responsible for paying for the birth of the baby. If you want to do this without an agency you can contact Fertility Clinics on your own and see if they will refer to a family in need of a surrogate (gestational carrier). You will have to go through extensive medical and psychological screenings. If you are looking for some compensation I would highly suggest finding an agency to represent you....surrogacy can be very tricky. Either way you will need an attorney paid for by the Intended Parents NO Fertility Doctor will transfer embryos into you with out a legal and binding contract signed by all.
Definitely talk to your doctor first- remember that being pregnant affects breastfeeding (if you're doing that) and take all health concerns into consideration.

I would love to be a surrogate someday also, if someone close to me needed it!

Since you wouldn't actually be going through the entire invitro process, it would be a minor medical situation for you. One of my best friends did IVF 4 times before getting pregnant and the worst part is growing the eggs and having them removed. So once the biological parents do their part, the doctor would be inserting the blastocyst(s) into your uterus. Then you pray it implants! I am sure you will have to be on some form of hormones to control your cycle, but that would be minor.

Also keep in mind that IVF is very expensive and most people like to transfer 2 at a time... so would you be ok carrying twins? There are so many variables, but I m sure your OBGYN would have some info on a fertility clinic that could lead you in the right direction.

Having gone through infertility myself, I can say that it's not about having a "clean slate"- that's just a stupid comment. Helping someone create the blessing of life is wonderful!!!!

God bless
I suggest you make yourself aware of all of the health implications before deciding whether it's worth the risk or not.

http://www.eggsploitation.com/resources.鈥?/a> is a good place to start.

Note also the perpetuating cycle. IVF can cause infertility, which leads to more demand for available infants ('cause gawd ferbid people should love kids they can't pretend they're blank slates with 'cause the kid's too old).
hmmmm...

why not concentrate on being a mother of your living children and not having to have them suffer through your pregnancy and recovery for another person.

btw, would you do this for free?
i would look on the surrogate sites in your area i was going to use a surrogate mother but i decided not to in the end

good luck if you need to talk please email me nutterlisa82@yahoo.com
I am sorry but I believe your hormones are still all over the place post birth. Noble sentiments but I do not see what you suggest in the same glowing terms. You cannot play God with a life.
