Mary was a kind of rented womb, what is the Christian view of surrogate mothers?

I mean what is the Christian view of the whole procedure where women make their womb available to have an impregnated egg from a donor mother placed inside their own womb and go through full term to give birth to a baby they will sometimes never see again.Mary was a kind of rented womb, what is the Christian view of surrogate mothers?
You are absolutely right. I never thought about it that way. hahaha excellent! I am sure most christians are against surrogate mothers.
Wow, you're pretty hung up on this concept aren't you?Mary was a kind of rented womb, what is the Christian view of surrogate mothers?
I can speak for Catholicism. They are completely against any kind of unnatural child birth. On top of that you best be married.
Who has a problem with this? Most of us recognize the joy of having a family and for some of us it isn't easy. We do what we can and what we can aford to make it happen. What with the obssession about the mother of Christ anyway?
No it was the Immaculate Conception. Please read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immaculate_鈥?/a>
GREAT QUESTION. I AM AGAINST FERTILIZING EGGS AS WE BEGIN TO PLAY GOD OURSELVES LIKE WHEN ABRAHAM TOOK HAGAR TO HAVE A BABY FOR SARAH. IT JUST DIDN'T WORK OUT.

SO THAT WOULD LEAVE OUT SURROGATE MOTHERS.

MARY WAS OVERSHADOWED TO HAVE JESUS AND JOSEPH THE STEP FATHER. I AM NOT AGAINST STEP PARENTS.
As a Christian I can tell you that I would much rather see a surrogate mother than an abortion. Being a surrogate is one of the most selfless and giving things that one woman could do for another. I don't see how any Christian could have a problem with it. And Mary was not a surrogate, she was Jesus's mother and God was his father. If she was not his biological mother, than who else possibly could have been. A surrogate carries a child that is not hers biologically.
