Any surrogate mothers out there that can help?

I would like to be a surrogate mother and would like to know if anyone else has had experience with and what there if they would do it again. Any other info on the subject would be greatly appreciated.Any surrogate mothers out there that can help?
I considered doing it for my sis-in-law (who can't have her own), but we opted against it for a couple of reasons.



For those who are saying "You wouldn't want to give it up" - I think it depends on the person. When we talked about it, I knew that for me it would never be a question of "this is MY baby" in the first place. I was approaching it as a "womb for rent", and doing something for someone who couldn't do it for themselves. But then, I don't want children of my own, so I don't think I'd have as much emotional baggage as some of the other posters here.

Any surrogate mothers out there that can help?
My fiance and I are looking for a surrogate mother ... we are in Northern Va.... and are at our wits end with the fake people - and ridiculous fees for the agencies...if you can help us out in any way, advice, info, point us in a good direction.....it would so be greatly appreciated ! Thank you

thats relly sweet but there is a problem most likely u will not want to give it up when it's born because it's been in u 4 9 months and u gave brith to it
Just be sure you really think about it first. I thought about being one, but after thinking about going through everything and feeling that baby grow inside of me, I knew I couldn't do it.

Sorry, I don't know much about being a surrogate mother..
I have considered this but I am currently 4 days shy of my due date with my own child and know the bond I have made with this baby growing inside me for 9 months. I think carrying a child for 9 months and being forced to give it up would be far to difficult for me and lots of other women, so make sure you think it through before you go through with it.

It takes someone very special to be a surrogate mother. I would do it for someone like my sister, or my sister-in-law, but I would be hard pressed for anyone else. Carrying a baby is a special thing and I would recommend that you already have children of your own before doing this becuase it is so easy to get attached. That baby is listening to your heartbeat and you will bond so ever closely.
