How is it that the Vatican frowns on surrogate mothers...when Jesus was the result of surrogacy?

How do we wrap our little minds around THAT ONE?How is it that the Vatican frowns on surrogate mothers...when Jesus was the result of surrogacy?
Surrogacy?
Is a woman not normally given the choice to become a surrogate?

According to the story she was chosen.
This can be compared to a stalker who chooses their victim.

She was "entered" by the "holy Spirit", would this constitute rape?
It is not that she was given a choice.
But the claim is that she was a "virgin" and she was a "vessel" so does that make Jesus (by comparison to today's methods) a "test tube baby"?
Either way she was pregnant from other than her husband which by definition make Jesus a "bastard".

No matter if it was rape or the product of a laboratory experiment according to the story she was not given a choice which makes her a victim.

By the culture at the time she would have been murdered for being pregnant and unwed so Joseph married her. She was a strong woman and due to circumstances raised a strong willed child who learned the ways of mystics and spoke his mind.
The church of that time was unable to stop him or the messages he was speaking of even when they thought they had killed him. The message was carried on by other messengers. At that time the Vatican did not even exist as we know it now. In time the church was formed and over the next couple hundred years the New Testament was written. Just as with the Pagan religions and their beliefs, the messages of Jesus could not be stopped so they were incorporated into the church practices. This was the most effective way to expand and exert the most control over people (and money).

Now we have a victim, a bastard child and a lot of Pagan beliefs and practices rolled into a story that is used to manipulate and control people (and money).

When someone looks at the entire basis for the "beliefs" that are taught from a detached position why would anyone even be concerned what the Vatican says?

If someone looks compares the pre-Christian Pagan beliefs and practices they would see the parallels. Only now the church in order to maintain their control preaches against Pagan practices. The predominant method is by perverting the information about them and claiming they worship the "devil" which is not even a part of Pagan beliefs. The devil is only found in the Abrahamic religions.

I had a brother in law that was extremely faithful in his beliefs and decided to become a priest. He totally lost his faith and the turning point was when he was told; The Bible is just a book of stories we interpret as we see fit for our best interest.

I was discussing Pagan beliefs with a priest who told me that he considers the Christian religion as an "adaptation" of Pagan beliefs. He also told me that most people do not know (the truth) about Pagan beliefs and practices and the church wants it that way.

Again I would question why anyone would be concerned about what the Vatican says.

I have no problem with Christian beliefs and stand behind anyone who follows what he preached. What he taught was based on his learning Pagan beliefs and practices, just from his viewpoint. This is also a part of Paganism that a person find their own spiritual relationship with what they believe and accept, and be responsible in both life and spiritual respects. I just have no use for any church that attempts to control people and make everyone fit their ideology. Even the God mentioned in the Bible allowed for differences, had preferences, varied in relationship with different people, accepted free choice and stated each was responsible for their actions. Most churches do the exact opposite.
I never ever thought about that... either thing... I didn't know the vatican was against surrogacy...and I never thought of Mary being a surrogant..but I guess she was.I think the Catholic Church says that she was a "vessel". Same thing I guess. I've had to "wrap my mind" around a LOT of things since I went to the Paranormal Section on YA. Sometimes I wish I had never questioned anything I was taught...even now.How is it that the Vatican frowns on surrogate mothers...when Jesus was the result of surrogacy?
In my opinion....fiction.

Isn't the vatican the same people who used to (in the middle ages) pry people's jaws open %26amp; cut their tongues out for blasphemy? i.e. talking bad about the priest or his bad habits.
Since when has the Vatican been lacking in hypocrisy?
*mind blown*
The exception to the rule, maybe? lol
