Depends from situation top situation- it is whatever is agreed upon. All medical care should be covered by parents, on top of that is whatever is agreed upon.
It all depends on the surrogate mom. If it is a family friend they usually do it out of love. Other wise it will cost you $20 000 PLUS!How mush are surrogate mothers paid?
personally i dnt think they should be paid! if a woman feels the need to become a surrogate it should be out of love and understanding for the person(s) in need!
It varies dependant on a number of factors, is it gestational or traditional? Going through an agency or independent? What state/country the carrier lives in?

The base fee helps when a carrier can no longer work or needs help caring for their own children. This is especially needed if put on bedrest and/or when carrying multiples.
