Do surrogate mothers actually get paid for having children for other people?
No
Usually it's just the expense of pregnancy that get paid for. Doctor bills, clothes, etc.
In the UK it is illegal to pay anything other than expenses.
I believe that they can not be paid, but can claim expenses.
yes they do
Most do.
normally its expenses and loos of earnings while the m,other cant work
Depends on the situation.
DO YOU MEAN LIKE BESIDES DR.VISITS, CLOTHES,FOOD AND THINGS LIKE THAT.IF YOU ARE SPEAKING OF SURROGATES CHARGING A FEE,I WOULD THINK IF THEY ARE FAMILY PROBABLY NOT HOWEVER FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ARE JUST DOING I'M PRETTY SURE THERE IS SOME TYPE OF NEGOTIATION SET.
YES. Did you think someone would go through 9 months or pregnancy and a delivery with no compensation???? That would be crazy! Plus the couple usually pays all the medical bills and for the time she has to take off work.
This is confusing really, legally you are not allowed to charge someone for having a baby for them, however the people wanting the baby can pay medical fees, new clothes etc but that is about it.
definately, unless it is a family member, but that is why they would go through with it, i couldn;t do it but if i did would want money for it.
yes usually
Sometimes, but sometimes not. Usually depends on if the surrogate is a friend or sister, sometimes they will do it just to help.
There expenses are paid for. clothing food doctor etc
Yes, their expenses, dr. bills, loss of time at work, clothing, etc is paid for and they are compensated for their time but only very little. When it's said and done the average surrogate mother earns less than $3 per hour for her time.
Only expenses for clothes, loss of earning, hospital and medical expenses.
No, you can't get paid for having a baby, as this would be like selling a child. You can get money for any expenses that you may encore such as time off from work, clothes etc.
