I live in Michigan and am looking for a way around my state having criminalized surrogate mothers.?

I can't have children but want to implant my eggs into a surrogate mother. Michigan has criminalized that, punishable by fines or jail time. I wanted to know if I had the option of using a surrogate in another state (Ohio isn't far away and is one of the more surrogate friendly states) or even another country (using a surrogate from India would be less expensive even with travel costs) to get around this law.

And to anyone wondering why I don't just adopt- I plan on doing that as well but I would like my own child too.I live in Michigan and am looking for a way around my state having criminalized surrogate mothers.?
I don't know Michigan laws regarding surrogacy off the top of my head, but it is possible to still use a gestational carrier or traditional surrogate - even if you live in a state in which it is prohibited. Check out the message boards at www.surromomsonline.com for lots of information and support.
It is only illegal in Michigan if you pay your surrogate a compensation (money). With a good lawyer, it is possible. Do you have any family willing to help you out? Or friends? A lawyer can help.I live in Michigan and am looking for a way around my state having criminalized surrogate mothers.?
Are you sure its illegal in Michigan? I live in michigan and I know people who have used a surrogate and I also have seen ads in the paper in the past looking for surrogates (granted I havent seen them recently). You may want to check that out fully. I have never heard of anyone, anywhere illegalizing surrogacy.
