What do you think about surrogate mothers?

Hypothetical Situation: You are young, and cannot bear children, because if you do, you will die. Your sister offers to impregnate herself with YOUR eggs and YOUR SPOUSE's sperm and carry your baby for you.

I really can't answer that. I had thought about it because i have been trying to concieve for almost 2 yrs now with surgeries and everything and i still am not pregnant. I had my best friend offer to carry my baby for me. I think that i would rather adopt the baby because if something happened to my best friend then she would feel bad and feel like she cheated me out of a child. I think that i would go with adopting but neither adopting or having a surrogate mother is cheap. They are both pretty expensive but i know what its like to not be able to bear children. (just not a life or death situation my ovaries hate me lol)
I think surrogate mothers are great. And if my sister offered to bear my child, I'd be more than grateful. I would take her up on her offer. After all, it will be my egg and my husband's sperm. She would just be carrying our child for me. I see no harm in it. It is a blessing to be able to have children. So, many people take that for granted. To be able to make someone's dream come true by having their baby is a great and unselfish decision.What do you think about surrogate mothers?
Wow!! That would be hard. I have three kids and I fell in love with them before giving birth. I think it would be hard, for anyone to accept. But as for the sister, I think if she would be able to do it, God bless her. Not only would she be giving you a gift, but she would be extremely close to her new neice or nephew. The con is she may not want to give up the baby because of maternal instict. But if the bond is tight between you and sis, I'd at least talk very seriously about it. Hypothetically, GOOD LUCK!!
I wouldn't have a problem with it as long it's not my egg. It will be there child because it's her egg and his sperm, someone else is just carrying it for them.
