Surrogate mothers? Am I to young to think about it?

I'm 17, and first off not thinking of doing it right now! But I've always dreamed of doing it. It started when I began giving blood at a school blood drive, for some reason, I know it sounds silly, but I got this amazing feeling that my little bag of blood might save someones life, I felt like I was finally a part of something worthwhile. And now I've been thinking about in the future helping a family have a child of there own, giving them something they otherwise couldn't have. But am i to young to be looking into things like this?Surrogate mothers? Am I to young to think about it?
I don't think you're too young to be thinking about it. If it's what you'd really love to do, then why not? There's nothing more precious than giving someone the gift of life.
you need to think beyond making others happy.

first thing of you, you may want to go to college, work and party or whatever.

even though its not going to be your baby in the long term, if you had to take breaks from work or school this could affect you in the long run.

you also need to remember that at the same time that you're helping other people, its a hard thing to do - letting something you grew for 9 months inside you go.

yes i think you are a bit young, wait a year or two more. if you still want to then go for it ;)

its a lovely thing to doSurrogate mothers? Am I to young to think about it?
Check that out with your country laws. In many countries, it's illegal as ethically not right. All countries has their own ethic committee. In some countries, you need to be married first. And it some countries, you can do it only if your husband gives consent also.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it. It depends on your motive. If monetary returns is what you want, then I... don't quite agree.

A beautiful thought will always be appreciated and respected. :-)
