If a couple cannot have kids because of complications with carrying a child, do you think having a surrogate is a good idea? Or should they give up on the notion of having a child? What is your opinion on surrogate mothers?
I would consider it with a loving friend or relative. I wouldn't get involved with a stranger... too risky. You never know how you're going to feel until you're in it and if the surrogate is a stranger, things could get ugly.
Personally, I would adopt. A mother who needs child and a child who needs a mother...it's a good match.
Good luck.
I personally think it's a great option. You're of course putting alot of trust into the "vessel" that carries your child, but I think it's great. If you and your spouse want children, please don't give up. Good Luck. What is your opinion on surrogate mothers?
i think it is wonderful i would consider doing that once i was done having children of my own. but my hubby isn't to fond of the idea. its such a gift to give some one. and such a gift to get.
I honestly think that adoption is a better route to go. The children are already there and waiting....It is a long process (but so is a pregnancy. Wouldn't it be worth it?)
Surrogacy is expensive, time consuming, and over all, a very emotional ordeal. I don't think I could ever do it.
